Well 2009 has so far proven to be a year of frantic sewing. I completed two quilts this week and even machine quilted one of them on my home machine. This is a first for me with a quilt of this size 57.5"x57.5". It went so well that I believe I must have been outside of myself during the entire process. Except for a few snaggeroos when the bobbin ran out it came out nearly perfect. Will upload and post pics tomorrow.
I also finished a sweet little quilt top for my granddaughter (pictured above). This pattern is quick and easy. It is an original pattern from the quilt store where I teach and shop. Its called Maggie & Mac. You can find the pattern and kits at http://www.littleshopforquilting.com/ tell them I sent you!! Against my usual nature and previous post, I have decided to repeat this pattern for my step-grandson in dinosaurs and yet another with a "vintage" feel easter fabric for my stair wall for the easter holiday. When I say this can literally be made in a couple of hours, I kid you not. Now the question is do I machine quilt my granddaughters or send it out?! After my last success I am truly afraid to test the quilting gods
